Articles:

    An Emergent Interactionist Understanding
    of Human Consciousness
                                                                               Charles Tart

It is truly an honor to begin our first issue with an article by Dr. Charles Tart.   Dr. Tart has offered us the opportunity to reprint his classic presentation and model of consciousness.  I can not think of a better place to start  than with this seminal work on the nature of consciousness because it provides us with a classic contemporary interpretation of consciousness as a process.

Reality, Consciousness and Spiritual Transformation                                        Dana Gaynor

In this article I overview my research on the nature of reality, consciousness and psychospiritual transformation.   The article develops a single meta-model integrating all three constructs demonstrating qualities of both fractals and holons.

    Topoi And Transformation                                                                                     Fred Abraham

A leader in the field of Chaos theory and psychology,  Dr. Fred Abraham is an exceptional asset in any discussion.  His ability to peer into apparent chaos and see implicit patterns offers us a rare chance for his "chaoharmonic" and deeply philosophic view of transformation.

    The Esoteric Thesis                                                                                                Paul Wildman

Graduate students spend huge amounts of time, money and personal investment in the masters thesis and doctoral dissertation process.  While most explore the nature of change outside of themselves few take the opportunity to use this investment as a means to transform themselves.  Dr.  Wildman discusses this topic and offers a basic methodology for enhancing self-transformation during the dissertation process.

Practitioner's Corner: observations and experiential models

God, Spirituality and the Option Method                                                               Frank Mosca

Utilizing his background of thirty years in the field of existential psychotherapy and his current activities as a practitioner of the Option Method;  Dr.  Mosca offers a very real world orientation to God, Spirituality and the process of transforming one's life through joy.

The Spiritual Emergence Process: Experiences and Observations                 Nancy Poitou

Nancy is a writer with a number of excellent articles to her credit, a member of the Exceptional Human Experience Network, a Marriage and Family therapist and one who has been working with the spiritual emergence process for many years.  Her article provides a digestible  experiential framework for understanding the process of spiritual transformation.
